The Unicode mathematical italic alphabets contain letters, but no equivalent italic digits or most punctuation. Italic styles leave your numbers, spaces and punctuation intact. Other styles, such as bold and monospace, do include styled digits.
A note on accessibility: decorative Unicode can be hard for screen readers to pronounce and for search tools to find. Use it for short accents, and keep essential information in plain text. Unsupported letters, including many accented and non-Latin characters, remain unchanged.
